Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
• A person under 18 may use the Platform and make purchases only with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password private. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
• Each account is for one student only. Sharing your login with others is not allowed.

2. Courses

• Enrolling in a course gives you a personal, non-transferable right to access its classes, notes and exams for the validity period shown on the course page.
• Class schedules, teachers, routines and course content may be changed or rescheduled where reasonably necessary. We will inform you of important changes.
• We work hard to help students prepare, but we do not guarantee any exam, admission or board result.
• Refunds for courses are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

3. Printed Books

• Orders are confirmed after successful payment or order confirmation by our team. Prices, editions and availability may change without notice.
• Delivery is made through our courier partners to the address you provide. Please give a complete and correct address and an active phone number.
• Delivery times, returns, replacements and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

4. E-Books

• An e-book purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read the e-book for your own study. You do not own the content.
• E-books are read inside the Crowning English app. You may need to install the app from the link provided on the Platform.
• You must not copy, screenshot, screen-record, share, resell or distribute any e-book, in whole or in part.
• E-book refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

5. Payments and Prices

All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments must be made through the official checkout on our website or app. We are not responsible for payments sent to personal numbers or to anyone outside our official channels. Promo codes and discounts are valid only for the stated period and conditions and cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including recorded and live classes, notes, books, e-books, exam questions, graphics, logos and the Crowning English and Crowning Touch names, belongs to Crowning English or its licensors and is protected by the copyright laws of Bangladesh. You may use it only for your personal study.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• share your account or access with others;
• record, copy, download without permission, upload or distribute classes, notes, books, e-books or exams;
• misbehave, use abusive language, or disrupt classes, comment sections or community groups;
• attempt to hack, overload, scrape or bypass the security of the Platform;
• use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to impersonate another person; or
• submit false payment information or abuse promotions, refunds or cash on delivery.

8. Suspension and Termination

If you break these Terms, we may warn you, suspend or permanently close your account, and remove your access to courses and e-books without refund. We may also take legal action where content has been pirated or distributed.

9. AI-Powered Features

AI-assisted features are provided to help your learning. Answers are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, so please verify important information with your teacher or textbook.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Crowning English is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the course or product concerned. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009 or any other law that cannot be limited.

11. Third-Party Services

The Platform relies on third-party services such as payment gateways, couriers, video hosting, YouTube, Facebook and Telegram. We are not responsible for their outages or their own terms and policies.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any complaint. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be subject to the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
